The studio was opened in 2018 by Sarah after discovering her love for Eyelash Extensions. What began as a small business to work around her young family soon grew into her purpose and passion.

After having her own brows done, Sarah was inspired to help other women enhance their natural beauty through Cosmetic Tattoo. In 2020, she trained in Tattoo Brows and Lips with Master Judy Nguyen - one of New Zealand’s most respected artists, recognised worldwide for her skill and artistry.

Sarah later trained in Fine Line Tattooing, inspired by a desire to offer this service in a small, sophisticated and non-intimidating studio setting - a space where clients could feel comfortable, safe and confident.

After returning from maternity leave in 2022, LashSpot by Sarah was rebranded and Ink & Beauty was born. This marked a shift in focus, with eyelash extensions and other beauty services removed from the menu to specialise purely in tattooing - with a side of beauty.

With her natural artistic flair, eye for detail and warm, approachable nature, Sarah has built a strong reputation and loyal clientele, largely through word of mouth. Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, and the studio proudly displays a number of certificates reflecting a commitment to ongoing education in an ever-evolving industry.
